NEW-BEETLE PARTY 3
FROM MAY THE 20th to 23rd
Detailed planing for the 4 days :
Thursday the 20th :
Meeting point at the camping site (camping de Dugny) around noon.
At 2:00 pm, let's go for a stroll :
- the Chaumont castle (tour)
- 4:30 pm : amusement park "Fantasy forest" (you will choose between 2 or 3 activities, example : "human table football"
, run in the trees...)
-back to the camping site in order to have the tents ready for the night and to wait for the last arrivals.
- 8:00 pm : dinner at the restaurant
Friday the 21st:
Starting time : 9:00 am. We will go in the direction of the city of Tours along the riverside (la Loire)
- breakfast at the "Vieux Four" and guided tour of the traditional bakery
- Guided tour of the city of Tours
- visit of the cellar and sampling of Vouvray wine
- Pic-nic (shopping the day before or on the same day at the "Vieux Four")
- Discovery of the "Pagode de Chanteloup", the "Clos Lucé" and the Amboise castle
You will then have 2 options:
-> visit of the latter monuments
-> departure for the 17th Super VW National meeting (biggest meeting of beetle cars (old))
Then we will all meet at Montrichard for the dinner.
- 10:30 pm : son et lumière at the castle of Blois
Saturday the 22nd :
9:30 am : departure for a wonderful run in the car : Abbey of Cormery, Montbazon, Ponts de Ruan (watermill), Saché (manor house), Azay le rideau, Langeais (castle), Sainte Mars la Pile, Villandy.
We will stop for a pic-nic during the journey.
After lunch we will take the direction of Chenonceau and we will have access to the castle for a nice photo with the beetles 8O
Then you will have 2 options :
-> Guided tour of the castle of Chenonceau, Montrichard (its cave dwellers, its keeps, its "mushroom cave") and back to the camping site.
->departure for the 17th Super VW National meeting (biggest meeting of beetle cars (old)) and back to the camping site;
Evening party with dinner included :diable:
Sunday the 23rd :
9 to 10:00 am : packing
- Then, tour of Blois and its castle!
- Wine sampling at a cellar (yes, again...
)
- Lunch at Blois
For those who are not in a hurry, we will go to Chambord, Villevasin, Beauregard and we will stop for the visits of course!
